Description: D111 American Agricultural Chemical Co. mechanical spinner card Buffalo NY fertilizer Excellent condition w/ a few very minor signs of use. A 2 leaf fold-over printed on card-stock. Copyright dated 1923 for The American Agricultural Chemical Co., Fertilizers, offices in: Buffalo, New York Cincinnati, Ohio St. Louis, Missouri Baltimore, Maryland Boston, Massachusetts New Haven, Connecticut 1. A very scarce item as a whole unto itself with no other considerations. This card is only the 2nd example I have seen in 45 years of 2,000+ paper shows I’ve attended as a dealer all over the country. 2. Additionally, a very scarce format for 1 reason. This has a mechanical metal spinner arrow feature on the front panel. Metal spinners were used very little. 3. And a very scarce format for a 2nd reason. On the interior there is a 2nd mechanical device - A rivet mounted spinner wheel. For there to be 2 separate, different mechanical devices on one piece is exquisitely rare. 4. Topic wise, the mention of mystic oracle is not a common reference point. Card made by J. B. Carroll Co. Carroll & Albany Aves.
