CP Company garment dyed pants, size 52 (fits 34)

Description: For sale here is a pair of pants from the CP Company label. For those not in the know, CP Company is a sister label of Stone Island, both founded by designer Massimo Osti. CP Company and Stone Island share some very similar DNA, particularly in fabric dyeing and experimentation. Stone Island tends to be the sportier, more youth-oriented line, while CP Company is more refined and tends to target a more adult audience. That said, many of the silhouettes are very similar, the quality of both labels can be some of the best out there, and the designs and fabrics are always forward-thinking. Most CP Company pieces, even those going back 20 or 30 years, easily hold up today. These pants for the most part follow the classic silhouette, although there definitely are a few tweaks worth noting. Fabric is 100% cotton given CP Company’s signature garment dye treatment, where there is a pleasantly uneven depth to the gray color used throughout. There is a unique twill to the fabric weave as well, where I would characterize this as a standard weight of pants, the sort of pair ideal for year-round wear, not too light and not too heavy. Front also had two panels on the knee area. This is seemingly workwear-inspired, where one would probably want some level of reinforcement on the knees if they had to bend down a lot of spend a lot of time working on their knees. Other details include a zip fly, branded waistband button, and a separate garment dyed fabric lining the waistband. This is a vintage collection CP Company piece, done back when they were a part of the Sportswear label with Stone Island, and done with the same high standards of production. As such, these pieces are now long gone and no longer in production. Size is labeled a 52 and fits like a standard 34. I measure the waist at 34”, inseam at 29”, rise at 10.5” and opening at the bottom of the leg at 9.25”. This is a straight leg fit, not too baggy or too slim. The pants come in used, generally good shape. There is some wear and fading throughout, with a few spots visible including on the left thigh and by the rear left pocket.
