It is possible that it was aimed at European or Asian buyers as a release back in the day. The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned in excellent condition. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch are... 1. This watch is a classic sporting timepiece size of 36.5mm... and with the integrated case and interesting case structure it wears a little bigger. So it has wrist presence and is quite noticeable as something very different, very cool. 2. The dial and hands steals the show on this one as it is very easy to read. A premium on legibility as a great sports watch should do. Then again with a classic black dial and really nice bracelet one could absolutely rock this with a suit or nicer clothes. 3. The case is also interesting and beautiful. It is a dodecagon which is scalopped and a 12-sided polygon. Very rare and frankly we need more of this case design in the watch making world. A real beauty that is intriguing and functional. 4. The flush, integrated bracelet is very comfortable and secure with the marked clasp. It will fit up to an 7.5 inch wrist. Frankly if your wrist is any larger, you should go with a 40mm or larger sporting watch. The watch looks wonderful on my 7+1/4" wrist and because this one is so collectible and cool if I do not get at or near my price I will pull it down and keep it. 5. A very nice Corum box as pictured rounds out the listing. We do not offer returns or a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs at our cost (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
