Description: Western Airlines is one of America's first airlines having started as an air mail carrier under the name Western Air Express in 1925. Western merged with Transcontinental Air Transport in the late 1920s to form Transcontinental & Western Air (TWA) but then became a separate airline again in 1934, subsequently changing its name to Western Airlines in 1941. The airline operated as Western Airlines until 1987 when it was acquired by Delta Airlines. This nice red and white vinyl flight bag has Western Airlines' 1970s logo, a pocket on one side and a shoulder strap. It is in very good condition with no tears or defects in the material. The vinyl is still soft and pliable and the zipper works smoothly. It is ready to use. It is clean inside and out except for some minor stains from use over the years.
