Description: This is a cute rare set of vintage NOEL Christmas Angel Girl figurines. They each measure about 4" tall and 2-1/4" wide. They were more than likely produced in the 50s, and although they're similar to the Napco angels and figurines, the underside of each letter is simply stamped "JAPAN" in black. These have a glossy finish except for the areas with red or green cold paint. As you can see in the photos, some of the green paint has flaked off the holly on the "N," and some of the red has flaked off the back of the angel's dress on the "L." There is one tiny nick on the bottom of the back of the "O," but that appears to be a production flaw. The gold may have some slight wear along the bottoms of the letters, but it's difficult to tell if that's just skips from when they were painted. See my photos for the detail. Besides what I've mentioned, there are no chips or cracks; however, they do have crazing. The tiny dots on the backs of the "O" and the "E" are paint dots from production.
