Description: Estate sale find. The clock winds, sets, and runs very well. It seems to keep fairly accurate time, but I would recommend getting it serviced because I have no idea the last time it was. I actually didn't want to sell this one, and I mounted it on the wall and have had it running for several weeks. It was running a bit slow so I adjusted it a bit. I would recommend servicing it before adjusting any further. The serial number on the back dates this clock to the 1940's using the Chelsea clock database. Screenshot added to listing to show this. The brass case, dial and glass are all in really good condition considering its age. Just a few light scratches and a couple spots of darker tarnish on the brass. When I purchased the clock, it was missing a couple screws on the back. I found a couple of the exact same screws, same length, thread twist, head diameter etc.., but they are not brass. NOTE: THIS CLOCK DOES NOT COME WITH A KEY. THE KEY I USED TO WIND IT, IS A COMBINATION KEY I USE TO WIND OTHER CLOCKS. Please look very closely at the photographs as they give you the best description of the cosmetic condition and size of the clock. Enlarge the photographs for better details. The clock will be very carefully package and shipped insured with the United States postal service. Due to some buyers misusing the return policy, I am no longer accepting returns. The item is still covered by eBay's money back guarantee only if the item is not as described. I always try to provide the most accurate, and honest description of everything I list here on eBay. If you ever have any questions or need additional photographs, please feel free to message me. My buyers satisfaction, and my 100% positive feedback are very important to me.
