Description: Cheese Presses all have food grade Stainless Steel rods, underside through bolts, connecting nuts, nylon locking nuts, nuts and washers. All have Zinc anti corrosion plated threaded flush fittings on upper horizontal 1" thick HDPE support beam, round push plate, and handle so cheese cloth doesn't get snagged and creates a very stiff connection. (This new style round push plate has an 1/8" recession to keep spring centered while tightening). Acacia Wood bases are 1" thick and HDPE bases and upper components are commercial grade and also 1" thick material. All have 1" round oversized rubber feet with Stainless Steel screws so it won't slide, and also elevates base to alIow a draining cup to fit under a drip tray if you use one. Also elevates base out of drained whey if press is placed in a cookie sheet style pan. Your order Includes one (1) fully assembled cheese press and one (1) 69lb. maximum effective load spring.
