Description: Academy Award winner CHARLTON HESTON was the PRESIDENT of the NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION from 1999 to 2003. He was a staunch supporter of GUN RIGHTS and is remembered for his 2000 NRA Convention speech where he raised a rifle over his head and warned that an Al Gore presidentcy would endanger his SECOND AMENDMENT rights and they could only take his rifle "FROM MY COLD, DEAD HANDS." Heston resigned as head of the NRA in 2003 after being diagnosed with ALZHEIMERS disease. The NRA then produced this rare CHARLTON HESTON TRIBUTE KNIFE in a nice 3" x 1" x 5.5" DECORATIVE TIN with a picture of him holding a rifle over his head at the convention. Heston died in 2008. This Single-Blade knife measures 3.5" long closed and has a 2.75" long Clip point blade made of STAINLESS STEEL. It appears to have BRASS BOLSTERS and PINS, and a STAINLESS STEEL LINER. It has beautiful HARDWOOD handles with a BRASS RIFLE embedded on the front side. It has Charlton Heston's SIGNATURE etched on the blade. Please see the pictures. It is BRAND NEW and has never been used.
