The batteries don't come with it. Dimensions: 6-1/2 inches long and about 4 inches diameter. Made of plastic, the strings of beads and teardrops dangle freely. There are LED lights in the four candle/lightbulb cups. All wiring is internal. Extremely easy to hang because you only need to glue a 2-inch metal flat washer to the ceiling of the room in your dollhouse. The chandelier has strong magnets to ''install'' it with!
