The celestron diagonal comes with a retaining ring to thread directly onto the back of a schmidt-Cassegrain telescope .Additionally,the 2 inch diagonal comes with a standard 2 inch chrome draw tube that can be used iwht most telescope with 2 inch focusers. To replace the threaded retaining ring with the standard draw tube,simply unthread the retainning ring and attached tube from the base of the mirror housing. If you want to use 1.25" eyepieces, slide the included 2" to 1.25" adapter into the eyepiece barrel and secure it with the thumbscrew.
