Description: Cast Iron Motorcycle Toy With Two Policemen Used This is a Cast Iron Motorcycle Toy that features two (what appear to be) policemen due to the gold highlight on the caps which appears to be a shield. The letters “HD” are painted on the gasoline tank on each side in gold. There are gold highlights painted on each individual and the motorcycle engine as shown in the photos. It is rather unique and also might be considered rare due to its size. This is a wonderful cast iron toy motorcycle with rider and passenger. The motorcycle is painted dark green/black with red and silver wheels. The rider is painted in a dark green/black drab uniform with black boots, cap and gloves. The rider’s face is painted with all features displayed as shown in the photos. The passenger is painted in the same manner and coloring as the rider. The rider and passenger do not come off the motorcycle. The wheels do turn. This piece does not have any Maker’s Mark but is thought possibly to be Harley Davidson (HD painted on the gas tanks and the style of motorcycle). The origin and date of manufacture of this cast iron toy is unknown. The piece measures 4” Long by 1¼” Wide and stands 2¾” High. This piece will look great on display on your desk or shelf and will get a lot of attention. This is a great conversation piece and should be considered a “must have” for any fan or collector of cast iron toys.
