Description: All original late 90's Carvin 4-string LB-70 bass.Note the three tone knobs and the battery compartment which distinguish the active/passive LB-70 from the passive LB-20 model which has the same shape. This bass practically plays itself, with a 24-fret jazz-style neck, 34” scale ebony fretboard and a professional setup. Has a push-pull volume control to select active/passive mode, three band eq, and pickup fader. Neck-through construction with a maple neck and Koa wood body. Body edges are rounded, unlike many Carvin basses. Dunlop Straploks installed. Quite light at 8 pounds. Includes original hard shell case. I think Carvin Corporation was making their best instruments in the late 90's. I have kept the fretboard conditioned and the bass has spent most of its time in its case under my bed. Original owner scratched his initials on the back of the neck below the headstock. It's not very noticeable, but it's there. Please see the photos for an accurate depiction of the condition of the bass.
