Description: This is a 1964 Mono Promo LP by Carmen McRae titled "Second To None" on Mainstream label number 56028. The record is in Very Good (VG) condition, and the sleeve is also rated Very Good (VG). From Wikipedia… Carmen Mercedes McRae (April 8, 1920 – November 10, 1994) was an American jazz singer. She is considered one of the most influential jazz vocalists of the 20th century and is remembered for her behind-the-beat phrasing and ironic interpretation of lyrics. This LP is a great addition to any collection and features a mix of Soul Jazz and Vocal styles. I listened to both sides of this LP completely through on my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable with no trouble. The record plays well but there is some surface noise, crackle, and ticks and pops based on the condition of the vinyl and the VG grade.
