All the drawers operate smoothly and possess their original brass hardware. The drawers do not have the expanding rails for use with index cards. The center partition is removable making the drawers suitable for larger paper (see pics). A heavy and extremely well built piece. This cabinet is small enough to fit on the top of your desk while being large enough to handle reasonable sized ephemera inside. A great piece for storing artwork, prints, stamps, photographs etc. This item shows light wear commensurate with age including marks, dings etc. Measures approx: 18" D x 15.5" W x 15.25" H.
