This game-used, MLB-authenticated baseball comes from the Rangers at Mets game in NY, 8/30/2023. This specific ball was used in the top of the 8th inning - pitched 4 times - and used to record back-to-back singles by two of the Texas superstars! -First, it was used to record a single by Corey Seager, career hit 988-Next, it was used to record a single by Marcus Semien, career hit 1318-The ball would be removed from play after the Semien hit and authenticated. Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site.
