Description: Antique Edwardian glass light shade dates from approximately 1915. The Bell shape has three engraved "cut-to-clear" decorative motifs around the base. Slight opalescence to reflected light. From the estate of an 1890 historic McKinney, Texas home -- owner collected period fixtures for renovation needs. Dimensions: 2.25" Fitter as measured from outside / from inside is 1.75". Height = 5-1/8". Bottom Diameter = 3.25". Diameter at widest point is 4.5". Condition: Very Good condition. Rim chip (see last photo), as well as roughness around fitter (these shades were frequently handled changing light bulbs and almost always have a few knocks around the fitter). No other mentionable flakes, nicks, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. White paint intact without erosion or scratches. Unpacked weight: 8.4 oz.
