Description: Two Cabinet Portraits - Peter Richters and his wife Magdalene Jeffers Richters (1846-1929). Peter was born in Germany in 1832 and died in New Orleans on 20 August 1903. Eugene Simon was a photographer in New Orleans beginning in 1870 or earlier, these photos were probably taken in the 1890's. Each photograph has some foxing with the photo of Mrs. Richters having the most, otherwise the cards are in very good condition.
