Description: Here we go. Here is a very unique investment. You are bidding on a great old card, an early 1932 Babe Ruth Sanella Margarine Type 2, #83-2, card graded BVG 8.5, NM-MT+. in the pictures. If you have any idea how hard it is to find these cards without glue residue on the back, let alone in this condition, then keep it moving. For those of us in the know, this is by far, the most difficult card of the Babe's to find in high grades. Only 5 BVG 8.5 and this is one. NONE graded higher and I doubt that will ever be sold and 3 PSA 9's exist to date. This is in the top 5 graded cards of this kind. So what's it worth? Well, for context, recent prices have exploded for all cards so comparisons must only be made to the last few weeks or month+ at most. The PSA SMR for the 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #53 card is currently listed at $900,000 for a PSA 9 and 22,000 for an 8 on their website. The most recent PSA 9 1932 US Caramel Babe Ruth card sold for $432,000. Hard to make comparisons with the 8.5 from Beckett compared to PSA and between sets, so I'll start the price around the most recent Ruth price. Clearly, serious bidders only. This card is for a serious collector. No checks or other shady payment attempts. Anyone international will need to provide cleared, completed payment before this leaves my sight. I will potentially deliver it or meet at an agreed on police station for transfer.
