BUILT B-24D LIBERATOR "FIGHTIN' SAM", #240506, 1/48 SCALE, REVELL, KIT#5625

Description: This model is newly assembled, adult built, 1/48 scale, B-24D Liberator, Fightin' Sam, tail number 240506. This model is highly detailed on the exterior and interior and fully decal-ed. This model is painted olive drab and gray, lightly weathered, with a cockpit green interior and finished with clear dull coat. The propellers turn and the top turret revolves and the guns elevate up and down. The tail turret guns elevate up and down, but the turret itself does not rotate. The waist guns are movable and can be placed in various positions. The props are not glued into place to allow for safer shipping (see photo) and less of a chance of breakage. The wings are removable from the fuselage and the model will be shipped the the wings detached. To attach the wings simply slide and glue them into the fuselage. Weights were added to the wings and nose section so that the model would not be a tail sitter. This is a very large model with a wing span of 27" and 18" in length. Included with the model is the tow tractor and crew, also with the model is assembly instruction sheet. SELLERS NOTE: Plastic models are very fragile. Each model is carefully packaged with fiber fill, peanut foam, or bubble wrap and placed into a shipping box. Although I take all precautions in packing to avoid any breakage I have no control after the model is shipped due to any mishandling.
