The blade has "BUCK 226" and "Taiwan" with a date mark (evidently this mark dates the knife to 2001). This knife is ready to use with no wobble to the blade, appears hardly used. Overall, a well-made Buck knife that is heavy enough for fishing and hunting, but has the convenience of keeping in its sheath for belt carry (see pics as they are a large part of the description).
