These camshafts are also a great choice for LQ4 and LQ9 6.0L truck engines when swapped into cars. BTR's engineers went back to the drawing board to find even more power and torque than the popular original version of the Stage 2 cam. This camshaft has a moderate idle for use in daily driving, yet makes significantly more midrange and top end power over Stage 1, with an over 16% horsepower gain at peak over the factory LS2 camshaft. A 2800+rpm stall converter is recommended.These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.This kit includes: BTR Stage 2 LS1/LS2 Camshaft, BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Titanium Retainers, Valve Seals, and 7.400" long 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods.Please note:DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM deleteVVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
