Description: This uncirculated 50,000 Brazilian cruzeiro banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1991. It is a brown, tan, red, orange, and purple banknote that bear the signatures of Marcillo Marques Moreira and Francisco Roberto Andre Gros, and measures 140 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side shows two men on a jangadeiro raft and a portrait of the folklorist Luis da Camara Cascudo. Its reverse side depicts Bumba-meu boi dancers in costumes. Security features include a solid security thread, a pentagonal fort registration device, and a watermark of Camara Cascudo. The banknote was withdrawn in 1994.
