Description: National Gallery of Art, Washington DC 11"x14" Gravure Print on cardstock. Will look great matted and framed! I acquired these within a collection of printer proofs from The Beck Engraving Company, 7th and Sansom Streets, Philadelphia. Beck Engraving Inc. gained a national reputation for four color plate printing, the Bassani Halftone process, and became one of the first sheet-fed gravure plants in the U.S. Beck Engraving was incorporated in 1898 and the company expanded its operations to New York City in 1910. I couldn't find information after the 70's for this company. They produced a large quantity of Lithos and Gravures for the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. These were printed prior to 1974, as a Picasso print within these does not indicate his death in 1974. Please make sure to review the photo-there may be some foxing or discoloration around the edges. I can combine shipping for multiple print purchasess. I can ship about 5 of these through First Class mail, after that, the weight is over 1 lb and must be shipped either Priority Mail or UPS. These ship flat between cardboard within plastic. I'll be listing well over 100 of these prints of the works of art that are hanging in the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
