Much of the material in the book gives a rare insight into how motor racing was run as it was taken from private correspondence between Ecurie Ecosse and Jaguar cars. Although a very readable history of the Ecurie Ecosse motor racing teams of both the 1950s and 60s and the later incarnation of the 1980s, this book goes much further.
