Not to be confused with the cheaper Black & White Budget, The Black and White ran from 1891 to its eventual incorporation with The Sphere in 1912. The newspaper employed many of the talented artists and engravers of the period to illustrate news and events and to entertain. Printed on quality paper. Normally there will be another article, drawing or photograph to back. Date and name of publication are to the top border of each page. Large frameable double page. Drawn by Charles M Sheldon. Condition - tiny stringholes to centrefold where previously bound otherwise very good.
