Description: Blue Bird WishesAs the Dandelion wish is made by blowing on the dandelion the birds are formed and fly away. I have made different versions of this wish theme over many years featuring butterflies and hummingbirds. This sweet fantasy piece is an original watercolor with a bit of Iridescent Medium also. The special Iridescent medium adds a shimmer, similar to a very fine glitter but it is held in the transparent paint. A touch of white acrylic was also used although very minimally. I purposely made the breath evident in the background washes, as well as the flight pattern of the blue birds. Not framed and not matted. Signed by local Southern California Artist, RAMfish Artist. Practicing art since a child and receiving training in Las Vegas and Laguna Beach. Currently working in my home studio in La Quinta California in the greater Palm Springs area. Working in watercolor, pastels, acrylics and oil and starting in ceramic sculpture. This beauty was painted on acid free 140 lb. watercolor paper. Watercolor painting hand signed by Ramfish artist. Paper is approximately 16" by 12" inches, painting covers most of the page and would look great matted and framed, but framing not included. Please note that actual colors of the painting can be slightly different from what you see on your monitor. I took photos in natural bright and normal indoor lighting so you will get a feel for the colors. Note the shinny iridescent areas are only noticeable at certain angles and lighting.
