Description: Brand New Kit in Factory Sealed Box. Never opened. Billing Boats have a very long tradition of model making, a company producing high quality wooden ship kits worldwide. This Viking ship, dating from about 1000 A.D. was found in 1957 in the bay at Roskilde in Denmark. The wreck was salvaged in 1962, and after a thorough preservation it was possible to carry out a reconstruction of the vessel. Today the ship is on display at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde.
