Description: Up for sale is a very nice hand colored engraving from The Edinburgh Journal of Natural History of 1840. This is plate CL. Great colors and nice images. It measures approximately 9 x 13 inches. It is a print of nice woodpeckers. The images are numbered and labeled. The engraving is credited to Milne Sc and drawn by A Wilson and Capt Brown. Print has some light discoloration, light browning and an irregular edges (including a missing piece that extends for about 3 inches down that is 1 cm beyond the edge) where it was removed from the journal down the left side.The engraving will look nice framed.
