This band fits all 1377, 1322, Drifter, 2289G and PC77 models if you use a standard 10.25" 1377 or 1322 barrel. Models with longer barrels can be converted to the shorter 10.25" barrel by using this band. It's more stable than the older 1377/1322 and 2289G backpacker barrel bands so it makes an excellent upgrade for those if using a 10.25" barrel. IMPORTANT : Some tubes have the pivot-pin holes further back than others. Older tubes tended to have them closer to the front of the tube which fits this barrel band well. Newer tubes tend to have them back further which causes the barrel band holes to be slightly off-center (too far forward) for the pivot pin to fit through easily. If you run into this problem the easiest fix is to file the front of the tube back slightly until the holes align. This is very easy to do, only a few file strokes are needed in most cases. Be very careful to keep filings out of the tube where they can cause damage to the seals and valve, stuffing a piece of rag into the tube before starting this work and removing it afterwards helps keep filings and grit out of the tube, flushing the tube out with rubbing alcohol is a good idea also. At the factory they force a tapered spring-pin through the hole and make it fit by force, we don't suggest doing it that way, parts tend to get damaged when trying to do it that way yourself without the correct machinery.
