I could not find any information on this carving or figure out what it is of. The closest i could find was an Aztec or Mayan descending /diving god; but i do not know for sure. Unfortunately, it has some issues, including noticeable discoloration spots on one side; i do not know if these could be fixed by re-staining the wood. Additionally, there are scratches, scuffs, and wear. There is also some green paint on one corner (see photos). The back side has a lot of marks and scratches. It will need some cleaning; the crevices have a little dust. The color may vary from photos due to lighting. It is possible that i have overlooked some additional small flaws. Buyer should expect more wear than what is visible or mentioned. SOLD AS IS. Please view all photos using zoom.
