Description: AUTHENTIC HERMAN MILLER CHARLES EAMES LOUNGE CHAIR AND OTTOMAN, CIRCA 1968 Five (5) ply Brazilian Rosewood shell and black leather cushions. This is the same chair found in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art, described by Eames as inspired by a well-used first baseman’s mitt. Used, good condition. Owned by a prestigious architect and a president of the AIA, it was used as his personal chair at home. Both the chair and ottoman have been meticulously maintained and are in very good condition. There is minor tearing to one button on the ottoman (see photos). Price $9500, plus shipping.
