Description: If you've ever wanted a bantam/TT Patch-bay re-wire project, here's a good one! When wired to accommodate standard patch bay applications, these go for more than 1k! There's at least $500+ worth of parts in here. Made by one of the premier brands in patch Bay design, Audio Accessories. This near mint 96 point PB is a pro-recording studio, broadcast ready, post-production grade piece of gear. The way it's laid out now, there are a lot of connections but almost none of them are in-line (out over in). Get the EDAC tools and wire this guy up any way you want! Currently there are a lot of people selling 516 plugs with XLR and TRS cables all ready to go, and for low prices ($50) so it would just be a matter of re-routing connections to the receptacles on the unit. No need for the crimp tool or any of the forked contacts, just the insertion and reinsertion EDAC tools and some work. *This was wired to a Euphonix console at the Duart studios in NYC. Total of six 516-38 Rectangular "Rack and Panel" ELCO receptacles,24 of the 38 holes are populated with the forked connectors on these.It has one 516-90 pin receptacle with all of the holes populated.This listing also includes six (8016) bridging cables with 2 plugs on either end that accommodate the receptacle population layout for each of the six 38 pin slots, I don't have any plugs for the 96 pin slot. One could easily work the 6 8016 housings included in the listing and turn these into female leads that could accommodate balanced connections, but for that, you’d need the crimp tool. It’s worth mentioning how nice it is to have the 90pin on this unit, that‘s 15 mono I/O’s or 7 stereo I/O's rite there! on just one of the 7 receptacle’s! Do you have 15 pieces of outboard gear? Or 7 stereo modules? A combination of both? Just that one receptacle could accommodate them all. ----- This 96 point Audio Accessories TT patch-bay is of the highest quality mil-spec build, with the best connectors and cable possible, a clear distance ahead of your consumer entry level patch bays.
