Description: I am selling this S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G, Antique aTo, made by HALLER & BENZING, in GERMANY, dated 1926, with an electromagnetic movement, having a SECOND HAND, a stunning BRASS base, and still having its ORIGINAL DOME, in an absolute BRILLIANT Cosmetic and PERFECT Functioning condition, completely FULLY Restored, offered with a ONE YEAR GUARANTEE!! I disassembled every single part of this clock, cleaned, polished and adjusted all parts, making this clock look brilliant and let it perform PERFECTLY!Never did I go this far to restore an aTo clock; please take a look at photo 9 showing you the amount of parts, so you can imagine the work involved.I even COATED all brass parts with an INDUSTRIAL, TRANSPARENT COATING, so you will never have to polish them again!Only a handful (or even less than that) aTo clocks from Haller & Benzing are left and most certainly NOT in the condition this beauty finds itself in.Note that this aTo is TRIPLE MARKED, on the Dial, on the rear leg by means of a metal tag and on the brass plate, behind the pendulum.This brass plate on which the movement sits, is marked with the H & B Mark and the serial number 112126, leading to the manufactory date 1926.Special is that this clock still has its ORIGINAL Dome , giving this beauty its TRANSLUCENT Character.Every part of this clock shines brilliantly.The back plate on which the movement sits, is a LEON HATOT one, and was used during the transition from Hatot to Haller & Benzing.A piece of history from Hatot:Leon Hatot started his career by engraving clocks, on their movements and the case.He always kept doing this, even when he was cooperating with aTo, engraving the plate behind the pendulum.Because of the flash of my camera you might mistake these engravement by imperfections, while they are NOT.In real, these engravements play with the brass material in the light, making it an eyecatcher.Even the back of this plate is engraved!Both the Body and Movement are in a BRILLIANT condition.ATO has always been the number 1 mark, making electric-magnetic clocks and are famous for their consistency up to the day of today.TOP QUALITY clocks with the highest cosmetic and functional standard.This piece is timeless...The cosmetic balance of this beauty is BREATHTAKING.....The pendulum and the COIL/BOBBIN are simply gorgeous.The video shows you that there is a GREAT amplitude of the pendulum!The movcement can be seen from ány angle!!The cosmetic balance is established by spreading the material with their coulours (Brass / Glass / Marble) over all parts this time-piece.The hands come in black and are simply shaped, yet very chique.The SILVER PLATED dial looks great too, besides minor flaws.The dial shows the time in LAYED ON, Arabic numbers which come in SHINING BRASS.Apart from the beauty, this clock works excellent and has an excellent functioning movement, running AT LEAST one year on a battery.The dial is marked with the aTo MARK.The movement is in a TOP condition and is fully serviced!!
