Description: Beautiful, vintage HO scale Athearn "Col. Hal Carstens' Colossal Coast-To-Coast Railroad Show" Railroad Museum Heavyweight Baggage Car Kit, in New/Unused/Never Assembled Condition in Original Box. This model commemorates the 40th Anniversary of Railroad Model Craftsman magazine. Road # 6 "Fredon". Made in USA. Take a look at the photos (enlarged) and see what you think. (Pardon any camera flash reflection.) ALL factory-installed detail parts appear to be present as car has NEVER been assembled! Body sides' paint looks very nice/new with no visible chips or scratches. All the wheels are pristine clean and indicate NO use! The car kit comes with 6-wheel trucks and horn-hook couplers. The original assembly instructions are included (see them in 2nd photo). The smaller kit parts (screws, couplers, coupler covers, brakewheel) are present in still-sealed manila envelope which you can also see in 2nd photo. The box is very shelf-worn and somewhat warped, but as you can see in 1st photo, it still remains in good/serviceable condition. "Buy It Now" price offered.
