Description: An Arts and Crafts silver plated muffin dish by James Deakin & Sons which would date to circa 1900. As you can see from the photos this dish has the most wonderful Arts and Crafts/Nouveau design covering the lid and the rim and to the top is a heart shaped handle. Being James Deakin it is also lovely quality. This muffin dish has its original removable silver plated tray. This muffin dish could be used for covering all sorts of foods and would be a stylish addition to any table. Condition. This muffin dish has no dents, bends or repairs. Minimal external surface scratches with more to the the removable tray but even these are not that bad. The only issue of note is the wear/thinning to the silver plate. This wear/thinning is mostly to the top of the lid where you have some large patches of more brassy looking silver plate (please see photos 9 & 10.) Approx size. The max diameter is 21cm. The inner diameter of the inner tray is 15cm. Height 10.5cm (excluding the heart shaped handle.) The max height of the handle on its own is 3cm. Thank You For Looking.
