Description: Strikingly handsome Art Nouveau (1895-1913) and large table centerpiece-pl;ant jardinere by the awe inspiring JBD(Julius Dressler)--oneof the larger pieces that i have seen in many years--short of the floor jardineres which now are in the thousands of dollars for even the more mediocre of the ones//. Sizewise --itis about 12 inches long; 9 inches wide and 9 inches tall--model number is JBD # 0520 incised and tower kiln mark--artist signed as well. While everything that see is is mint--there is a chip underneath on the rim--see photo of same--not seen unless you turn theitem upsidedown etc... The freize cartouche on the sides appears to be of a series of hanging bean pods--gdreat look and textile feeling...lovely and very unusual. Thanks for looking--ho9ller if you have any questions...
