He is very similar to the fine SWISS WOOD CARVINGS, done by the master Swiss carver WALTER MADER . His base is carved “Gd St. Bernard”. The bottom is marked in pencil,what looks like “NO #5” The dog is BEAUTIFULLY carved.The edge of one ear has a small rough worn area. He has fantastic detail, and is truely a WORK OF ART.
