Antique Wood Acorn Butter Print Cookie Stamp Shortbread Mold Primitive Folk Art

Description: Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool. Antique wood butter print or cookie mold/stamp with a carved acorn and leaves design surrounded by concentric rings. This Measures between 4" and 4.25" across the face, and between 2.75" and 3" tall - as can be seen in photos #8 and #9. The wood has acquired a lovely warm brown tone and smoothness, suggesting thatthis actually been used (I only used it as a decoration)...it also has some discolorations, scuffs and dingsfrom this use. The wear I've noticed most is shown inphotos #10, #11, and #12.There are decades of accumulated air pollution, dust, and whatnot in the deep recesses of the carving. I have never "washed" this wooden mold in water, butinstead would periodically brush it with a naturalbristle brush to retain its character. On the very edge of the mold, there is an old repaired area that looks like a reglued chip that is about.75" long by not even .25" wide. The last four photos are of this old repaired area fromseveral different angles.
