Antique 1920's Flapper Era? woman's dress. Yellow linen? fabric for dress and long sleeves. Some needlework on bottom of sleeves. There is sheer silk? fabric that is attached to go over sleeves for a flowing look on arms. Ribbon sewn on around neckline and around the edges of the sheer sleeve fabric. Much of dress has handsewing on seems ,around edges, sleeves etc. The side seams and the hem look to be machine sewn. Measurements are approximately 17" from shoulder to shoulder, 40" across chest, 36" at waist, 56" from shoulder to bottom hem, 22" from top shoulder to bottom of sleeve, 18" from under arm to bottom of sleeve. Dress fabric seems to be intact, looks like it was altered possibly for size. No tears or holes in cotton fabric. Seems seem mostly intact. There is some discoloration, fading, wear, small snags and spots of soiling. The sheer sleeve fabric is very fragile. One sleeve has much more damage than the other with splitting, tearing of sheer fabric, pulling away from the dress. See photos for better idea.
