Description: Antique and vintage, approximate 11 lb. mixed lot of silverplate flatware/tableware including knives, forks, spoons and serving utensils. Manufacturers in each of the two lots we are listing will include the majority of the following: 1847 Rogers, Wm. Rogers, Wm. Rogers & Sons, Rogers & Bros., 1881 Oneida, Oneida Community, International Silver, 1835 ER. Wallace, Wallace Bros., E.S. Co. and Embassy Silver Co. and others. Items in each of the two lots will include the majority of the following: Dinner knives, forks, teaspoons, tablespoons; luncheon/grille forks; butter knives; salad/pastry forks; sugar spoons; serving & casserole spoons; ladles; slotted serving spoons; pickle/condiment forks; cold meat fork; cake/pie server; baby spoon/fork. The patterns are a mix of ornate to plain. Note: 2 additional pieces were located and added to the lot after the photo of the lot was taken; see last photo. This lot overall is in mostly very good used condition with some items as excellent and others good to fair. All items will benefit from an appropriate silver cleaning/polishing to make them shine more brightly. We have described the silverplate and .925 sterling silver items that we list to the best of our knowledge. Some items may have any combination and degree of expected typical wear signs including tiny fine scratches, tiny dents, filmy/worn/tarnish spots on the surface and/or misshapen handles, blades, mouths or tines. Note: Coppery tones are due to reflections of lighting. One exception is the large, scalloped shell-shaped casserole spoon; the bowl of the spoon has a gold tone. We do not know if this was applied in some way (gold wash?) or if this is wear/tarnish related. We are always happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases where possible. Purchase your items, hold off on payment and let us know when you are ready for us to send a revised invoice with combined shipping. We give due consideration to all reasonable best offers. The shipping costs for heavier items are calculated based on shipping the item to the west coast from our location. Please feel free to inquire about shipping costs. If you provide us your zip code we can calculate shipping to see if it may cost less to ship to your location. Some photos have rulers to indicate the size of the items we list. More approximate measurement details can be provided upon request. Note: Although we describe and provide photos of the back stamp, and any other relevant markings on any given item that we list, we are not experts. Please feel free to ask us any questions and we will do our best to answer these.
