Description: ANTIQUE VINTAGE HITCHCOCK CLOCKWORK ELECTRIFIED BRASS TABLE LAMP 1880'S AMAZING!!! this is a Hitchcock lamp from Watertown, NY made in the 1880's. Originally an oil lamp that has been electrified. They were called clockwork lamps because you could insert a key in the base and wind it up and a small fan would turn. This has been removed and the power switch replaced it The Hitchcock name is on the burner ring measures15 3/4 inches tall to top of shade the shade is a 6 15/16 inch outside edge measure fitter and is cased glass the lamp has a ding in it as shown.
