Description: Welcome! _______________________________________________ I really don't know what this is, but was told it was meant to hold stick pins. It’s lightweight, made of dark turned wood with hand-painted decoration, and stands approx. 5" tall; the base is about 4 7/8" wide. It has little ceramic or porcelain circular rings around the holes in the finial, which are only about 1/4” deep, except for the top one, which is about 1/2” deep. Anything that fit inside the rings would have to be no more than 4mm wide. The porcelain rings used to be painted silver, but the paint is nearly worn off. This piece is in really nice condition, with no splits or other damage to the wood, and the hand painting is in great shape. Thank you so much for viewing this item.
