It is probable that the inspirations theatrical, but to date no source has been found. Dates too approx. 1860. Approx 11"H X 8"W. Documentation: A similar piece is documented in the Harding Staffordshire Book, Volume 2, p. 119 Figure 2115 Condition: rubs to noses, chins, chip to girl's hat, crack to side of tree.
