The figure is originally gasoliers, probably wall sconce, according to the marks present on the underside of the wing and body that correspond to English registry marked used between 1898-1883. The conversion into a table lamp was surely carried out with the arrival of electricity around 1905. The piece has fantastic details in every parts (please see the 24 pictures). Measures: Total Height: 18" or 46 cm. Condition: Very good antique condition with natural patina. No damage. Showing light wear and some stains and traces of soiling concentrated to the recessed contours. The lamp is in working order .
