Description: Estate fresh. This wonderful antique 1920s lighting sconce from Lion Elec. Mfg. features all you could want in a Tudor / Gothic Revival / Arts and Crafts fixture. There are 2 sockets for bulbs on this wonderfully detailed sconce. The "handles" on the sockets mimic candle holders. It has a hand hammered look to it, which is very attractive. The finish is terrific, as shown. The original Leviton switch with fabric covered wiring is still present. The sleeves over the light sockets were replaced with plastic ones and they will likely need to be replaced, which is very easy to do. The light sockets themselves are old and are original to the fixture. Please see my photos. The sconce is solid with no repairs. Overall, it measures 11" wide and 7" tall. The mounting plate measure approximately 5" x 5". I suspect it is made of finished brass as a magnet does not stick to it. This great old piece is a genuine pleasure to look at and will be a great addition to your decorating scheme. Secure, well-padded shipping will cost $25.
