Antique Transferware Footed Tea Bowl, Women Feeding Chickens, C 1820

Description: Rare light and dark blue transferware footed tea bowl decorated in transfer print with a scene of a woman and child feeding chickens in front of a cottage surrounded by trees. Center of bowl interior has a pair of chickens and a floral border of wild roses. The tea bowl measures approximately 3.5 inches in diameter and sit 2.25 inches high. The piece has the slightly blue glaze pooling in crevices on reverse. The item(s) are antique and sold as is. They may show wear, fading, scratches, chips, cracks, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use. I note a chip to rim, two hairline cracks visible on exterior only, and some crazing to glaze as seen in photos. Examine photos carefully as they are part of the description.
