This early plate is very attractive with a blue and white transfer landscape scene and a rose floral border. This scene shows a man on a horse speaking with a woman at the rivers edge. Across the river is Mount Bellew, Galway in Ireland. This plate is marked with an impressed, "WEDGWOOD" mark and it was manufactured by Wedgwood around 1820.
