Description: Here is a sleeveless summertime dress. It just slips over the head. Most of the pattern pieces are placed on a fold so the size can be increased or decreased to fit you. This is a copied pattern. Most pieces are hand traced with a pencil on tissue paper. The dress is Size 38" bust, with a full skirt. You are buying a COPY of this dress. **I recommend you buy cheap fabric or go to a thrift shop and buy an old flat sheet to make the alterations to fit your body. I have done this and it works great. I use a marker to write measurements and sewing marks. ** This saves you money so your better fabric isn't damaged.! It seems that the antique patterns were cut differently and not always true to their size or a piece may be to large or to small. For this pattern the upper back piece may need adjusting at neck line & arm hole might be either to big or to small** The upper back is a replacement piece. Original was lost** Ideal Pattern Co. was part of Montgomery Ward dept. store chain in the 1920's. ** I have tried to accurately trace each piece.
