Description: The item for sale is an antique primitive redware sugar with original lid. The item is from Pennsylvania. The piece as shown has a chip on the lid and rim of the bowl. There is roughness to the glaze on the rim of the bowl. Probably from the lid being put on and off. It has a great looking manganese glaze drip to the piece with a coggled type decoration. There are some in the making pops shown on the glaze. It has a wonderful patina. It is a about 3 7/8" tall and the diameter across the top is 3 3/4". Check the pictures they are the best description.
