Description: I am pleased to offer this Beautiful Antique 1911 British Sterling Silver Match Safe! This safe has an engraved leaf pattern on both sides, a hinged lid, and a striking strip along the bottom. The lid has the British Silver Standard Mark for Sterling, and the 1911 M Date letter. The inside rim is marked with the Birmingham Hallmark, as well as a unidentified makers mark of TH in an oval.Measure approx. 2" Tall x 1-1/2" W Condition:This antique Match Safe is in very good condition for being over 100 years old! There is some mild scratching to the exterior, and very minor tarnish.
